Course on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Superintending Officer (SO) in Contract Administration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Centre for Legal Understanding and Enforcement Studies, Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT), organised the Course on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Superintending Officer (SO) in Contract Administration from 7 to 9 May 2025. The course was conducted in-person over 3 days and 2 nights and was attended by 38 participants from Local Authorities (PBT) nationwide. The course speaker was Tuan Haji Sr. Samian Bin Johari, a former Senior Quantity Surveyor from the Public Works Department Malaysia (JKR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This course exposed participants to the roles and responsibilities of the Superintending Officer in supervising government development projects and contract administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is hoped that participants can enhance their knowledge and understanding regarding the role of the Superintending Officer, as well as implementation procedures based on contracts and relevant laws.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
