Synergy of Art & Strategic Collaboration: KAED IIUM Students’ Mural Touch Brightens Up I-KPKT Building<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The surroundings of the Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) now feature a fresher and more vibrant aesthetic following the successful execution of the I-KPKT Building Mural Project 2026<\/strong> from 10 to 15 August 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This premises beautification initiative is the result of a strategic collaboration between I-KPKT and public university partner, the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)<\/strong>. The stunning visual artwork across three main walls of the institute complex was fully completed by young talents from KAED IIUM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project successfully transformed three blank wall surfaces into visual architectural artwork rich in colour and local identity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • \u201cRasa Malaysia\u201d Mural<\/strong>: Combining depictions of the nation’s iconic architectural landmarks with a variety of local culinary heritage, symbolising cultural diversity and Malaysian harmony.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Floral Motifs & Natural Patterns<\/strong>: Injecting elements of vibrant tropical foliage and flowers that refresh the physical landscape surrounding the I-KPKT building blocks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    A Platform for Student Talent & Smart Agency-Academia Collaboration<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    Beyond enhancing the aesthetic appeal of I-KPKT’s environment, this project served as a practical platform for KAED IIUM students to express their creativity, hone teamwork skills, and translate built environment design concepts into a real-world public service setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The management of I-KPKT extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to all parties involved, particularly the leadership of KAED IIUM and the students for their solid commitment to making this mural project a success.
