The Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) is the main reference centre that provides information and training related to the policies of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
Courses at I-KPKT are open to staff of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Local Authorities, as well as other related agencies.
Applications can be made through the I-KPKT eMAS System or through nominations from their respective departments. Please refer to the course calendar for more information.

Perhatian kepada peserta / urusetia kursus :
- Sila patuhi peraturan permohonan penggunaan I-KPKT sebagai tempat latihan oleh agensi di bawah KPKT / agensi luar yang tertera di Laman Web I-KPKT.
- Permohonan penggunaan fasiliti hendaklah dilaksanakan 2 bulan sebelum tarikh cadangan di Sistem eMAS I-KPKT.
- Bayaran bagi makan minum dan dobi mestilah dibuat secara Pesanan Tempatan (L.O) menggunakan syarikat yang disyorkan oleh I-KPKT.
- Urus Setia dikehendaki menghubungi syarikat yang disyorkan oleh I-KPKT bagi urusan pengeluaran (L.O) berkenaan. Satu salinan (L.O) bayaran kepada syarikat tersebut hendaklah diserahkan semasa menghadiri sesi taklimat urus setia untuk perhatian Pengarah I-KPKT. Maklumat berkenaan perkhidmatan dobi dan katering akan diberikan oleh pihak I-KPKT selepas permohonan diluluskan.
Any approval for the use of facilities is subject to the decision of the Committee Meeting. Official feedback will be sent via email within one month prior to the course commencement date. The email will also include the facilities quotation document, as well as details for the catering and laundry service providers.
There are no convenience store facilities provided within the I-KPKT premises. Consequently, course participants are strongly advised to bring sufficient personal necessities before registering, given that the institute is located quite far from the city centre.
No. I-KPKT does not permit course participants to bring family members to stay with them at the institute throughout the duration of the course.
The programme secretariat is advised to conduct a site visit to I-KPKT in advance to assess the suitability of the institute’s facilities and environment, should there be any course participants with disabilities (OKU).
