Frequently Asked Questions

The Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) is the main reference centre that provides information and training related to the policies of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.

Courses at I-KPKT are open to staff of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Local Authorities, as well as other related agencies.

Applications can be made through the I-KPKT eMAS System or through nominations from their respective departments. Please refer to the course calendar for more information.

  1. Applications can be made via the I-KPKT eMAS System.
  2. Attention to course participants / secretariats:
    • Please adhere to the application rules for the use of I-KPKT as a training venue by agencies under KPKT / external agencies, as stated on the I-KPKT Website.
    • Applications for the use of facilities must be submitted 2 months prior to the proposed date in the I-KPKT eMAS System.
  1. Payments for meals and laundry must be made via a Local Order (L.O) using the companies recommended by I-KPKT.
  2. The Secretariat is required to contact the companies recommended by I-KPKT regarding the issuance of the said (L.O). A copy of the payment (L.O) to the company must be submitted during the secretariat briefing session for the attention of the Director of I-KPKT. Information regarding the laundry and catering services will be provided by I-KPKT after the application is approved.
