Course on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Superintending Officer (SO) in Contract Administration
The Centre for Legal Understanding and Enforcement Studies, Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT), organised the Course on the Roles and Responsibilities of the Superintending Officer (SO) in Contract Administration from 7 to 9 May 2025. The course was conducted in-person over 3 days and 2 nights and was attended by 38 participants from Local Authorities (PBT) nationwide. The course speaker was Tuan Haji Sr. Samian Bin Johari, a former Senior Quantity Surveyor from the Public Works Department Malaysia (JKR).
This course exposed participants to the roles and responsibilities of the Superintending Officer in supervising government development projects and contract administration.
It is hoped that participants can enhance their knowledge and understanding regarding the role of the Superintending Officer, as well as implementation procedures based on contracts and relevant laws.
