Strengthening Synergy & Team Spirit: I-KPKT Staff Successfully Organise Organisational Enhancement Course 2026

To strengthen cooperation, communication, and team spirit across various units, the Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) organised the I-KPKT Organisational Enhancement Course 2026 from 28 to 29 September 2026 (Monday and Tuesday) at Chemerkaw Resort, Raub, Pahang.

The organisation of this two-day, one-night programme served as an essential platform to unite the institute’s staff, fostering a work culture rooted in harmony, productivity, and mutual support in delivering public service excellence.

Module Sharing Sessions & Strategic Planning

A series of indoor interactive modules was conducted across four main sessions to empower the role of every staff member:

  • Session 1: Organisational Enhancement and Direction of I-KPKT: A focused discussion session to ensure a shared understanding and alignment with the institute’s vision, mission, and strategic targets.
  • Session 2: Strengthening Cooperation and Teamwork: A team-building module testing mental resilience, trust, and effective communication.
  • Session 3: Enhancing Integrity, Professionalism, and Work Culture: Reinforcing work ethics, accountability, and the practice of core values in daily responsibilities.
  • Session 4: Action Planning and Shared Organisational Commitment: Formulating pledges and action plans to translate training outcomes into workplace application.
Outdoor Teambuilding Challenges

To complement theoretical learning, participants were challenged through various outdoor physical activities set within the resort’s natural surroundings.

Recreational and teambuilding activities included All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail rides, ziplining (flying fox), and river water tubing. These activities not only fostered camaraderie and courage, but also reinforced mutual trust as well as the physical and mental resilience of I-KPKT personnel.

The programme concluded with a firm commitment from all staff members to bring a renewed spirit to the workplace, driving I-KPKT’s excellence in the training sector and public service delivery.
