Strengthening Integrity Values: I-KPKT Staff Attend Integrity Enhancement and Anti-Corruption Course 2026

In a continuous effort to instil the values of trustworthiness and empower best governance amongst public servants, the Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) organised the Integrity Enhancement and Anti-Corruption Course for I-KPKT Staff 2026 on Thursday, 25 June 2026.

The one-day course was held at Lecture Room 6, Level -1, Block E, I-KPKT, and was attended by 25 participants comprising institute staff from various units.

Synergy with MACC Headquarters

This awareness programme featured experts from the Community Education Division of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters as guest speakers. The presence of speakers from the nation’s primary enforcement agency provided a highly realistic, transparent, and in-depth exposure to the hazardous impacts of corruption within the public service ecosystem.

Interactive & Dynamic Sessions

To avoid a one-way delivery approach, the course utilised a Group Dynamics (LDK) approach across three main slots:

Slot 1: Ice Breaking / Mind Setting / Team Up A dynamic ice-breaking session to align the participants’ mindsets and build teamwork synergy before diving into weighty integrity-related issues.
Slot 2: Corruption and Abuse of Power: Major Offences A group dynamics session delving into the specifics of power abuse elements, workplace corruption traps, and legal implications under the MACC Act.
Slot 3: Anti-Corruption Gamification “Understanding the Corrupt Mind” An interactive, modern gamification approach to help participants understand the psychology of corrupt individuals and learn how to act courageously and ethically when faced with instances of malpractice.

Through the organisation of this course, I-KPKT remains committed to ensuring that its entire workforce consistently acts as the primary shield in defending the department’s image, rejecting all forms of malpractice, and executing responsibilities for the nation with transparency and integrity.
