I-KPKT’s Participation as Exhibitor and Presenter at the Local Authority Convention and National World Environmental Health Day 2026

The Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) recorded active participation across two key roles as both an exhibitor and a presenter at the Local Authority (PBT) Convention and National World Environmental Health Day Celebration 2026, held from 12 to 13 September 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) in Penang.

The participation of the I-KPKT delegation at this prestigious convention was co-ordinated by the Registrar of I-KPKT, Mr Muhammad Rasihan bin Arif, alongside the institute’s secretariat and technical officers, to promote the latest digital training services and the organisational training management system.

Presentation of Digital Innovation: I-KPKT E-Management System (eMAS)

On the second day of the convention, 13 September 2026 (Sunday), I-KPKT was entrusted to deliver a presentation on the Mini Stage under Presentation 6: I-KPKT E-Management System (eMAS).

This presentation focused on the role of the eMAS system in modernising the governance of training management, course registration, and online competency tracking for PBT personnel. This digitalisation initiative aligns with the aspirations of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) in empowering smart services driven by technology and transparency.

I-KPKT Exhibition Booth Welcomes Top Leadership

Throughout the two-day convention, the I-KPKT exhibition booth stood out as a key highlight for visitors and PBT personnel from across the nation. The booth was also honoured to receive a VVIP delegation comprising top leaders from the government and the Ministry.

The visit provided I-KPKT with the opportunity to highlight human capital development aspirations for Local Authorities (PBT), while sharing continuous enhancements in the quality of courses offered by the institute.
