Course on Strengthening Integrity in Local Authority Procurement

The Centre for Legal Understanding and Enforcement Studies, I-KPKT, organised the Course on Strengthening Integrity in Local Authority Procurement in collaboration with the Community Education Division of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC/SPRM).

The course, held from 15 to 17 July 2025, was attended by 36 selected participants from Local Authorities (PBT) nationwide and received an encouraging response.

This course was held to provide PBT officers with exposure regarding the importance of compliance with the principles of integrity and transparency in procurement, as well as to understand the potential implications of negligence.

It is hoped that this course can strengthen the participants’ integrity and discipline in executing their duties as officers managing departmental procurement affairs, as well as assist in developing personal action plans to ensure the establishment of an effective workforce.
