Implementation of Sandbox Programme: Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology Course for Technical Staff of the Sabah State Town and Regional Planning Department

The Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology Course for Technical Staff of the Sabah State Town and Regional Planning Department was successfully conducted from 27 to 29 January 2026 at the Sabah State Town and Regional Planning Department. A total of 19 officers, specifically technical staff from the Sabah State Town and Regional Planning Department, attended this course, which aimed to empower skills and enhance officers’ competencies in the use of AI tools.

I-KPKT hopes that the knowledge and experience gained throughout this course can be utilised effectively in efforts to empower the field of town planning, subsequently strengthening a more effective and competent work ecosystem. It is hoped that this strategic collaboration can be continued and expanded to other fields.
