Introduction Course to Behavioural Insights in Local Authority Policymaking
I-KPKT, under the Centre for Legislative Understanding and Enforcement Studies, organised the Introduction Course to Behavioural Insights in PBT Public Policymaking from 18 to 20 May 2026. This course was held at the Housing Management Lecture Room and was delivered by Mr Muhammad bin Abdul Hamid, as the Behavioural Insights Consultant.
Course Objectives
This course was held to provide participants with an understanding of the basic concepts of Behavioural Insights and its role in improving the effectiveness of public policies. Through this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the human behavioural factors that influence the level of public compliance with Local Authority (PBT) regulations and services.
- Apply the Behavioural Insights approach in designing programmes, campaigns, or initiatives related to PBT functions.
Attendance and Appreciation
This three-day course was attended by a total of 15 participants, comprising personnel from Local Authorities across Malaysia as well as relevant government agencies.
