Master Gardener Course (KMG) Module 1: Selection, Planting, and Post-Planting Maintenance

The Centre for Landscape Management Studies, Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT), organised the Master Gardener Course (KMG) Module 1 from 28 to 30 April 2025 via an in-person (physical) session.

Mr Rosslan bin Yaacob from the Malaysia Society of Arborists (PArM) was invited as a speaker and instructor to share his knowledge and experience with the participants.

The Master Gardener Course – KMG Module 1: Selection, Planting, and Post-Planting Maintenance offered exposure to theoretical knowledge and technical skills (hands-on) in carrying out the roles and functions of planning, implementation, development, maintenance, and landscape regulation, specifically regarding amenity trees within Local Authority (PBT) areas.

The course was conducted physically and in-person, attended by participants from PBTs and relevant agencies. The course also included a study visit to Gamuda Land and the Tropical Rainforest Conservation & Research Centre (TRCRC) Elmina.

It is hoped that the participants can apply the knowledge and insights gained.
