Occupational Safety and Health Course
The Occupational Safety and Health Course was successfully conducted online via the Zoom application on 19 August 2026. A total of 363 participants attended the course, delivered by Mr Mohd Khairi bin Mohd Yatim from the Construction Site Safety Division, Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Putrajaya. The course aimed to enable participants to understand the core concepts, principles, and best practices surrounding workplace safety and health.
Through knowledge sharing and exposure to relevant safety guidelines and procedures, participants were able to identify risks, hazards, and preventive measures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Participants were also briefed on employer and employee responsibilities under occupational safety and health legislation, alongside the importance of instilling a safety culture within the organisation.
It is hoped that the conduct of this course will cultivate officers who are more vigilant and responsible regarding workplace health and safety, in line with the goal of creating a conducive and productive working environment.
