Opening Ceremony of the Solid Waste Management Intellectual Course (SOSMIC) 2026

A paradigm shift in the nation’s solid waste management sector!

Last Wednesday, 22 April 2026, the Opening Ceremony of the Solid Waste Management Intellectual Course (SOSMIC) took place at I-KPKT, Bukit Tinggi. This strategic programme was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Wira Dr. M Noor Azman bin Taib, Secretary General of KPKT.

Why is SOSMIC Important?

SOSMIC is an initiative conceptualised by the top management of KPKT, translated through a collaboration between JPSPN, SWCorp, and I-KPKT. The goals are clear:

To strengthen human capital.

To drive a more professional solid waste management reform.

To ensure environmental sustainability in line with the Malaysia MADANI vision.
