The Housing and Local Government Training Institute (I-KPKT) is one of the agencies under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.
Basically, I-KPKT acts as a training development, information collection centre, reference centre and provides advisory services in the fields of Local Government, Town Planning and Urbanisation, Landscape Management, Housing, Legal Understanding and Solid Waste Management to officers and staff of Local Authorities as well as agencies related to housing and human settlement. I-KPKT is committed to being a one-stop centre for interested agencies that aim to develop human capital and drive organisations towards holistic and more competitive development in line with the 11th Malaysia Framework which seeks to increase human capital development and transform public services to increase organisational productivity towards a developed nation.
It is hoped that this portal will be able to provide information to the public regarding the role and responsibilities of I-KPKT as a one-stop centre institution in real estate development in Malaysia and internationally.
Finally, through quality training programmes and making I-KPKT a one-stop centre, it can create productive and competitive human capital, which can then realise the vision and mission of every public service organisation.
