Roles & Functions

I-KPKT plays the role of:

1. Conducting training for six (6) study centres including:
   • Urban Planning and Urbanisation
   • Landscape Management
   • Local Government
   • Housing Management
   • Solid Waste Management
   • Legislative Understanding and Enforcement
2. Organising conferences, seminars and workshops related to local government at the local and international levels.
3. Disseminating the latest information regarding changes in the Ministry’s policies, directives, and goals from time to time.
